I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science from RMIT. I worked in a clinical research department for Monash University's Department of Medicine, first at the Alfred Hospital and later at Box Hill Hospital. My area of expertise was in haematology, encompassing routine haematology, coagulation studies and blood banking.
