Richard Fox's Education Webfolio
I completed my Diploma of Education (Secondary) at La Trobe University in 2010. My teaching methods were Science and Biology, although I am able to teach Mathematics and Information Technology also, as these are all areas of expertise I am familiar with. I also hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science (RMIT, 1987) and a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science (La Trobe University, 1992).
This year I worked for a few days as a CRT teacher before securing a six-month contract at Diamond Valley College replacing three teachers on long-service leave. I taught Maths, Information Technology and Future Directions across several year levels. Other responsibilities included being a Home Group teacher, and supporting excursion activities. In my time at the school, I prepared both interim and end of semester reports, and participated in Parent Teacher Interviews in both semesters.
I am already a fully-registered teacher with VIT, having successfully presented my Evidence of Professional Practice during my time at DVC.
I am currently seeking full-time employment for 2012 in one or more of my subject areas.
